What Should Be Said

In response to Gunter Grass's "What must be said":

I strongly support your decision
Don’t be silent any more
Sorry that you have been
You're a German I'm a Jew
After surviving WW2
We should debate with no hatred
Otherwise mass killings will overcome us again
No truth is in your poem
None that I can see
So if anything it makes me jealous
Extremely
Your words made such a wave
That the Iranians and the Israelis
Looked at themselves saying:
"He's right/He's wrong"
But you can't be ignored
I'm proud of you
For you turned the advocates and the detractors
On to poetry
I love poems.
