18th century romanticism declared:
Freedom for nations and individuals.
Let them be free.
By the end of the 20th century
Tens of millions
Moved across the seas
To be close to the rich.
The new romanticism reads:
Let them have the freedom to go back.
But they stay
Romanticism flashed away.
