To my Lao-Tzu*
To observe I have to emerge out of me
Out of my time and place
I will need to ignore the given values of
The beauty and the ugliness
The bad and the good
The validity of wealth
And the power to posses
To appreciate
I need to be out of the context of desire
As a man I can't judge
I do not wish to affect his
I observe the work of the Creator.
