Bishop's Mama
The head of Oncology at the Central Hospital in Warsaw knew:
The terminally sick is a Bishop's mother.
The cleric bow down beside her bed and prayed silently.
As he opened his eyes, faint but a clear voice of her:
"I'm a Jew"
The Bishop's face remained still, but his mantle shuddered.
"I was born to a family of Hassidic Rabbi in Lublin.
Your father was the first man I met after release from the Nazi camp.
I didn't want to burden you with my past".
Submerged in a deep prolong pray
He asked for her forgiveness,
And finished in Hebrew: " Baruch Ata Adonai"
Blessed be the King.
Two of his tears joined
To one God.
