p dir=ltrA poet
His ways
Are not always obvious
Suddenly enlightened
Others see no reason
It could be a name an appearance
A color an image
That make him see
He explodes with words
That gallop through
As they pass
They're missing.…
In the Mongolian steppe
Grass stretches from the empty horizon
To the legs of my horse
I Feel as light as the gray eagle from above
The sun is the only time-measure
I throw away my needless watch
Track its course into the transparent river
Everything follows the passing time
Except me..…
p dir=ltrA stormy wind propelled out of the tuuli poet's throat
In front of me a herd of wild horses
The stone-floored hotel lobby in the city of Nethanya
Trembled as they galloped through the steppe
The dusty air and the yellow grass
Made them thirsty
They walked unto a clear mountain river
Three young warriors on horses
Hidden among the birch trees
Suddenly they moved in between the herd
Altan jumped out of the saddle
His comrades saw a flying steppe eagle
Grasping the back of a wild stallion
The entire herd followed
As they entered the tribe's camp
Three white female doves greeted them
The one with a golden forehead settled
On Altan's shoulder
They turn to a beautiful maiden
He would be the great khan
A poet-shaman brought an echo from
Altai and Khangai*.…

p dir=ltrCrocuses are piercing through the snow
A display of courage from a little flower
A decision of survival
Disappointment
A poet's high expectations
Last winter there was no snow
But the crocuses were blooming
Everywhere.…
p dir=ltrSeated on a couch in my living room
Fully air-conditioned and controlled
I watch TV
Man vs. fish
Man vs. bear
Man vs. man
Islam vs. Israel
Islam vs. …
Hatred vs. mankind
It crumbles every hope
It fuses the darkness with the light
Innocence equals guilt
No way to explain
That the One God is one for all
That Israel lives on his land
It will remain
Islam vs. Israel
The lights turn off
A terrible blast arises
Masses of bodies around
Who wishes to hear my poem
Bodies vs. man.…
p dir=ltrA ship cruised around the southern islands
The captain said: "Let's have it for England"
A French flotilla got a big chunk
An armada took one for Spain
The Dutch, Belgian and the Portuguese
Competed for the lead
God blessed those who prayed for the land
Their inhabitants became part of the property
Justice seems simple
Faith is within the strong and the strongest
Now the people of the poor nations
Are colonizing all of Europe
It's their turn to pray.…
Facts and desires are not to be mixed
I look at myself objectively
The mirror doesn't distort my face
I'm in front of my wrinkles
It is hard to navigate in between them
One day one night with you
The wrinkles have gone
I looked at the same mirror
They will never return
As long as I'm with you…
A Seventy years old talks to an eighty years old
They know each other for many years
Poets
But for the last several years poetry is no longer an issue
The horror of time's passing gets stronger every day
What's left is divided into various diseases
There are surgeons and pharmacists
But poetry is an extension of life
It’s a renaissance of forgotten love
It brings me again to a place I have been
It revives situations that never came
I starve to keep contact with reality
As the Earth is losing its partner for life
And the moon says goodbye
Decay and destruction take their toll
The arrow of time overwhelms
My desire for poetry is gone.…
In the meadow facing the Atlantic Ocean
In the early morning
It's impossible to distinguish the water from the air
I put down my bed
Its legs firmly embedded in the meadow's mud
The tide is coming below my pillow
It carries minnows shrimps and octopi
Sometimes an unidentified thing is on the move
It carries no scientific name
Probably never seen before
Transparent life is passing by
My name is one of many
In the meadow of life. …
